Amateur Radio Licensing Courses at Nunsfield

Radio licensing is dependent on attending a series of progressive courses and satisfactorily completing the mandatory assessments.  Licenses are issued accordingly with each license allowing additional privileges compared to the previous license.  Courses at Nunsfield are comprehensive and conducted in a friendly informal manner and each student is encouraged to ask questions.

Nunsfield is an approved City & Guilds and a Radio Society of Great Britain approved course and examination centre.  Mr Frank Whitehead G4MLL is the senior amateur radio course lecturer in Derbyshire. The following courses are offered at Nunsfield.

   
   
 

 
   
    These courses form the basis of the progressive licensing scheme, which requires the passing of each stage before progressing to the next stage.
